"A Trio of Strawberries"
I painted this original oil alla prima — completing it in one sitting. I wanted to capture the rich, juicy essence of strawberries using minimal yet expressive brushwork. Who doesn’t love strawberries? I aimed to suggest their form and texture without overworking the paint, allowing their natural freshness and vibrancy to shine through.
I framed the painting in a beautifully handcrafted black frame with gold leaf accents, which complements the warmth and simplicity of the piece.
