About the Artist

Sandy Morgan is a Plein Air and Studio Artist artist based in North Wales.

Her work was recently featured in the Chelsea Art Society Summer Exhibition 2025, .

Sandy primarily paints in oils and specialises in plein air landscapes, seascapes, and still life. Working directly from nature, she captures the changing light and mood of the environment with sensitivity and immediacy.

For Sandy, painting outdoors is essential: "I could never dream up the things I paint if I didn’t experience them firsthand En Plein Air." Her connection to the landscape is both intuitive and observational, allowing her work to reflect not only what she sees, but what she feels in the moment.

Sandy is a member of the London Plein Air Painters (LPAP), the Grosvenor Art Society (GAS), and The Artists Group (TAG), and regularly exhibits throughout the UK.
